In total, the organizers received nine submissions from three participants. In addition, they evaluated the method of A. Nicolaou, A. D. Bagdanov, M. Liwicki, and D. Karatzas, “Sparse radial sampling lbp for writer identification,” in 2015 13th International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR), Aug 2015, pp. 716–720) in two variants as our baselines.
